It has been six years since Molly’s husband Silas abandoned his family. There, Molly was trying to make ends meet while she was working for a call center from her home. She was 48, and still needed to work hard for her children.
When her husband abandoned them, she had two 8-year-old to care for. Her son Damien, and daughter Connie. They were now 14.
It was not easy for Molly to work at various jobs, until she started to work for the call center. It was not her dream job, but it was helping her to keep things stable.
One day, their neighbor Jen knocked on her door. She asked for a favor. She told Molly that she had a huge party on the other day, and that the house was in a mess. She explained that she needs to go out of town for work and that if she could clean her house for money.
Molly checked the clock, as her shift would start in few hours, but extra money would be good in her situation so she accepted. Jen told her that she would pay her $250, and thanked before she left.
It was true, Jen’s house was in a mess. It was looking like a battlefield. Jen was gone for a few days, and it was clear that Molly wouldn’t finish cleaning the house in a few hours.
As her shift was over, she went and started to clean. She worked in the house for two days straight, and it was over. Molly earned her $250.
On the fourth day, Jen returned. When Molly went to talk with her, she was shocked because Jen told her that she didn’t promise of such a thing, and told her that she was in a rush as she stepped into her car.
Oh, the war was on. Molly took a day off from her job, and collected many garbage from the neighborhood. She poured the trash onto Jen’s driveway, and as she had the keys as Jen escaped without taking them back, it was time to go inside.
When Jen returned, she found her garbage home. It was terrible as it was worse than before. She couldn’t believe it.
When Jen screamed at Molly after she found her home, Molly told her that she doesn’t understand what Jen is saying. Since they never agreed on anything, how could May have the keys of her house.
