Viewers are criticizing Christina’s solo performance from Team Snoop in the semi-finals and comparing it to karaoke

Posted on December 16, 2024

The Voice aired a new episode on Monday, December 2, 2024. The remaining eight contestants returned to the stage to battle each other for a spot in the finale. However, only five could advance, ending the journey of the other three. Hence, each put their best foot forward, hoping to make it to the next round. One such artist was Christina Eagle from Snoop Dogg’s team.

Christina entered the semi-final alongside Jeremy Beloate from Team Snoop, eliminating Austyns, Aliyah, and Mikaela in the Playoffs. Snoop Dogg believed Christina, the only country artist from his team, could ace “good old-fashioned country music.” He brought her to the semi-final with that conviction, hoping she met his expectations.

Christina opened the semi-final episode with her rendition of Shania Twain’s Man! I Feel Like a Woman!. The coaches praised her for delivering an upbeat and fun performance.

However, fans of The Voice disagreed with the coaches’ review. They took to X to criticize Christina’s vocals, comparing her act to “karaoke.” Many felt Snoop Dogg should not have advanced her over Austyns and Aliyah.

“I’m Sorry Christina’s performance is to amateur karaoke for me ! I said what I said!” a fan wrote.

“Singing flat ____Christina, #TheVoice The only Country singer left?” another fan commented.

“That was Christina’s worse performance,” a netizen tweeted.

“I wanna say Christina eagle performance wasn’t good at all and I think snoop will be left out of this season voice show finale,” a user reacted.
