Jessica Campbell, who starred in Election and Freaks and Geeks before going on to work as a physician, died of unknown causes at the age of 38.
Campbell most famously portrayed Tammy Metzler in the 1999 dark comedy Election, opposite Reese Witherspoon and Matthew Broderick, which earned her an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Debut Performance.
