Tamarie Tollison, a veteran trainer with years of experience working with orcas, was performing a training session when something went terribly wrong. Witnesses say the orca suddenly pulled her underwater — and she never resurfaced.
Animal rights groups are calling for permanent bans on orca shows, while fans and former colleagues remember Tamarie as a passionate and dedicated trainer who loved the animals she worked with.
