LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Gelson’s Laguna Beach will close its doors permanently on Saturday, March 2, Stu News Laguna reported. The grocery store — located at 30922 South Coast Highway — will not open up shop elsewhere in the city.
A spokesperson for Gelson’s told Stu News that the reason for the closure is that the “store was not profitable.”
During its final week, the grocery store will have modified hours, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26 through Friday (March 1) and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 2.
