Hailey Bieber’s father raised concerns among fans as he took to social media sharing a cryptic post asking for prayers for his daughter and husband Justin Bieber.
Fans were left puzzled this week as Hailey’s father Stephen Baldwin shared a now-expired Instagram story asking for his followers to “pray” for his famous daughter and son-in-law. The 57-year-old actor and producer reposted a video of Justin strumming his guitar and singing the Christian worship song I Will Sing of Your Love Forever originally posted by public figure Victor Marx. The video read: “Christians, please when you think of Justin & Hailey, take a moment to offer a little prayer for them to have wisdom, protection and to draw them closer to the Lord.”
The mysterious post was captioned: “I seldom like to post about certain folks in the limelight because of the negative comments we get. Eileen and Hailey’s mom pray often together for J&H and our children as well. There are special challenges that folks in high visibility positions face and also the enemy doesn’t want them to draw closer to Jesus.”
The caption continued: “So often regardless of the material things or the accolades they often face spiritual warfare that intense and seeks to ship-wreck their faith, marriage and life in general. So thank you.”
The post’s strange message raised concerns for the couple and their status left fans confused. They wonder what might’ve prompted Hailey’s father to share the video with no further explanation. Many took to the comments of Stephen’s latest post sharing their theories of what the deeper meaning could be, with many believing it could be hinting at a divorce or that Hailey could’ve suffered a miscarriage.
After the bizarre post, fans took to Stephen’s Instagram comments searching for more answers. On his most recent social media post in which he talks about his religious beliefs, one fan commented: “Any news on Hailey and Justin’s divorce? So are the rumors true?” Another replied: “Where’s the post on Hailey and Justin. Divorce??” And a third wrote: “Why did her dad ask for prayers???”
