The girl in the cover photo is a world-renowned pop star who has built a phenomenally successful career in the entertainment industry. Not only has she established herself as a formidable singer but also as an actress and businesswoman.
Born in Boca Raton, Florida, on June 26, 1993, to a father who is a photographer, graphic designer, and artist and a mother who is the CEO of a Communications company, the famous musician started as a theater kid. After scoring a role in the 2008 musical “13,” she became a household name when she starred on popular TV shows on Nickelodeon.
Following the release of the “Music from Victorious” soundtrack album, the young talent debuted her first studio album in 2013. The critically acclaimed album made it to the Billboard 200 chart, with the lead single garnering a spot in the top 10.
Since then, the Grammy winner has continued to soar to new heights in her career. She continues to pump out number 1 records, dominate the stage while performing on world tours, and become one of the most influential people worldwide, according to Time’s Top 100 list.
With her powerful vocal ability, the star has consistently showcased herself as one of the most talented artists in the industry, often drawing comparisons to other iconic performers in show business. One such phenomenal singer she has been likened to is icon Mariah Carey. Of the comparison made between the two, the famous artist gushed:
“Mariah has been a huge influence on me since I was a little girl. I’ve even done a cover of one of her songs…It’s honestly a great honor.”
With such an incredible voice, she was even entrusted to be one of the voice coaches on the top-rated show “The Voice.” The famous singer takes her career very seriously when it comes to carrying the title of the world’s biggest pop star.
She takes the saying “no rest for the weary” to a new level, as she is an extremely hard worker. Some years ago, while sitting down for an interview with a news outlet, the superstar performer, who is a vegan, had caught a cold as the result of her can’t stop, won’t stop attitude.
Even on prescribed bed rest, the top global pop musician went ahead with a video shoot that didn’t end until 6 a.m. the following day. However, far from being and looking fatigued, she conducted the interview all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.
In the same interview, the iconic entertainer also spoke about how she became passionate about her craft. She comes from a long line of performers, with her older brother and half-brother also being entertainers. This, coupled with the fact that she was always fascinated with musical theatre, paved the starting ground:
“…once Frankie got into acting in musical theatre and dancing, I was like, ‘Ok, I guess that’s the cool thing now, so let’s investigate and watch old musicals.’ My friends and I were huge musical-theatre geeks and we would go back and forth to New York whenever we had free weekends.”
